Mikey Virts was born and raised in Western Maryland. He is a 2004 graduate from Frostburg State University and holds a BS in Theatre with a focus in acting. He lived for 5 years in Chicago, where he trained at the ImprovOlympic and performed at the Chicago Sketchfest. During his time in Chicago he co-founded the short-lived BreadBasket Productions, where he produced a couple of plays including "Unwrap Your Candy" at Stage Left Theatre.  He now lives in Deer Park Maryland with his wife and 3 daughters. He is only the 2nd Artistic Director at Our Town Theatre and has served in that role for the past 3 years. Recently he directed "She Loves Me", "The Dining Room and "Silent Sky". He is excited to make his Theatre On the Lake Debut.
